This is my second attempt at summarizing the NFT internet today.

So let’s see what’s going on.

Find Satoshi’s Lab (FSL) Launches an NFT Marketplace

Even in the depths of an icy crypto winter, players continue to enter the NFT space with new marketplaces, FSL comes along to throw its hat into the ring.

What is it? It’s a marketplace dubbed MOOAR. The goal of the marketplace is to empower through a “unique membership model with zero platform fees and no optional royalties”. It will also allow users to launch their collections using MOOAR’s launchpad.

Why it’s interesting: The rise in platforms offering buyers the opportunity to not pay royalties has led to a drop in NFT creators not being incentivized to create on various platforms. FSL have concluded that the only way to keep the zero fees model more sustainably would be to add a membership fee. So if you’re a creator, this might be worth looking into as an avenue for publishing your work.

The Orberon Protocol Gold Rush

Visit the official site at https://orbeonprotocol.com/

Okay so I’m writing about this one mainly because of how fascinating of an idea it is apart from the fact that I found it while scanning the internet. It seems to be making a lot of noise across publications everywhere. Let’s get into it.

What is it? A platform for connecting start-ups with crypto investors who can then invest directly into these businesses. It’s an interesting idea.

Why it’s interesting: Orbeon primes itself to disrupt venture capital in the Web3 ecosystem by letting investors invest as little as 1$ in startups they find interesting. Orbeon token has already risen by 100% since the launch of its presale. Industry experts are predicting a 6000% increase by the end of the presale.

You can check out the presale link here

NFTs on the XRP Ledger?

What is it? A new standard has been launched in the XRP Ledger ecosystem allowing the creation, minting and distribution of NFT applications. While asset tokenization isn’t new to XRPL, the innovation marks a milestone in allowing developers to make advanced Web3 utility projects.

Why it’s interesting: Ripple’s aiming at attracting NFT creators who’s work is based around the interaction of digital and real world products with funding for such initiatives ranging between $25,000 to $250,000 dollars. Those who want to try their luck can immediately start building on NFTs on XRPL. You can check out the exhaustive docs on how to get going over at xrpl.org

Here’s a Summary of NFT tokens that gained the most in the past 24 hours:

Let’s see what’s happening in the top 3 NFT token earners

At the top of the list, we’ve got Render Token (RNDR). This is a pretty damn cool idea too, distributed graphics rendering on the blockchain. Kinda insane someone actually got that working. Anyway, here’s a summary of how it’s going.

RNDR — It’s value is up by 26.72% with a trading volume of… wait.. I had to make sure I read that right… 587.86%?? Woah, more in-depth details at CoinMarketCap

Second contender is Chiliz, the worlds leading blockchain fintech provider for sports and entertainment. Damn, so many protocols out there. I swear I’ve never seen this token before and it’s number 2 today in most gains. It’s stats are:

CHZ — It’s up by 5.73% with a trading volume of 52% in the last 24 hours. Seems like an interesting token to keep an eye on.

Our third contender that’s managed to keep a hold in the top three since yesterday, we’ve got SuperFarm! An amalgamation of NFT tools for doing NFT things; launching drops, coin staking, tools for creating NFTs, although some less “coming soon” than others. How’s it doing?

SUPER — Turns out at the time of writing this, it’s down by 3.28% with a movement volume of 28.27%. More details on the grid.

Honorable Mention

Twitter Tweet Tiles seems to be testing stuff so if you’re on Twitter and you in the NFT game, don’t forget to check it out.

That’s all the news for today’s edition of Summarizing the NFT internet. See you later this week!

So far this little exercise has been interesting. It’s exercised my muscle in researching this space at the breakneck pace its always moving.

Anyway, see you later this week
